What's the Process?

Giclée - (French meaning to Spray) pronounced zhee-clay.

With a pallet of over 7 million colors, and a process delivering up to 4 million droplets of ink per second, prints can be reproduced directly from a digital image file without compromising detail or color vibrancy.

Producing a Fine Art Giclée is a meticulous process, requiring skill, patience and dedication to you, the Artist. It is not only knowing your equipment, but using the very best in Ink and Media to obtain the artistic interpretation and representation of the Artist's original works.

Because this technology allows the image to be stored to disk, an Artist has the choice of printing images on an 'as needed basis'.

We will gladly work with you to answer any questions about the process!

1  Utilizing the most advanced medias available.

2  Commitment to the talents of the Artist.

3  Preference is going the extra mile.

The Steps to creating a beautiful reproduction!

We prefer to start from the original, if you no longer have the original, but you do have a 4” x 5” transparency or digital file, these will also work.  Make sure the transparency and file are accurate.

4  Photograph the Original or Scan the transparency

5  Color correct the image.

6  Remove signature, standard in giclée process.

7  Print proof on media that will be printed on.

8  The proof can be mailed to you..

9  When image is approved we are ready to print your prints.
